About me
Hi! I’m Yuri, a New York–based serial engineer and product-minded engineering leader with 8+ years building fast, elegant web and mobile experiences. I’ve shipped UI and platform work across CRMs, PLMs/ERPs, logistics, and VoIP—supporting global B2B products serving 100,000+ monthly users—and I’ve spent the last three years leading teams and scaling products from zero to traction.
Most recently, I co-founded Cyasoon, where I led engineering through a strategic pivot to an AI-driven social discovery and travel app. I designed and built the real-time recommendation engine that curates places based on user intent, launched a social feed for sharing trips, integrated seamless media storage, and mentored a cross-functional team across iOS, Android, web, and design.
Before that, I engineered AI-powered matching (voice/video signals → meaningful connections), safety-first content moderation, high-conversion onboarding on iOS, and a React/Node marketing platform connecting local businesses with users—work that directly improved activation, retention, and monetization.
Earlier, at OpenBOM, I built collaborative PLM/ERP interfaces with real-time sync, and at Ringplan I led a 5-engineer team on RingPlan’s communications suite—shipping features that lifted engagement and revenue while tightening permissioning and reliability.
I’m hands-on across Swift, React, Angular, Node.js, and Python, with a growing toolkit in applied AI (nlp, embeddings, OpenAI API) and a bias for shipping. I love hard problems that meaningfully improve how people discover, collaborate, and communicate—and I bring the leadership to turn those ideas into products people use every day.
